Apartment-Style living at the Mount
Westwood, the Mount's newest residence, gives its 158 students the choice of traditional-style premium single rooms or an apartment-style residence. Westwood is made up of 28 four-bedroom apartments, 3 two-bedroom apartments and 35 premium single rooms. In addition, there are five single-room apartments reserved for housing staff.
Apartment Highlights
Each apartment room is approximately 13 x 8.5 feet, and apartments include a full kitchen (stove, oven, fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle), two full bathrooms, four single rooms (including captain's bed, desk and chair, bookshelf, wardrobe with shelves and nightside table), furnished living room, phone and cable television. Premium single rooms
Located on the third floor, 35 single rooms offer students a sense of community with private living space. Each single room is approximately 20 x 8.5 feet and comes with a single bed, sink, storage closet with shelving and drawers, a desk, high speed internet, local phone and cable TV. Shared washroom facilities (every five rooms share a full washroom), a kitchenette at the end of each hall and a shared lounge with a big-screen television provides residents the perfect balance.
