You must return these forms to the Registrar’s Office, Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax,
NS B3M 2J6.
You will then have an official academic record (as a non-degree student) at the University and you must include reference to this record whenever you pursue study at another academic institution.
If you do not complete and return the registration form, you will not have an academic record created for the coursework from the Jamaica Principal's program.
Upon completion of all modules in your program, grades will be assigned to these courses and you
will be able to request official copies of your Mount transcript.
Many members have inquired about applying the coursework from the Principals program to further
study at the Mount. Depending on your previous academic background, you may be eligible to do so
at the undergraduate level in the Bachelor of Education program in Association with St. Joseph’s
Teachers College or College of Agriculture and Education.
Several members have inquired about pursuing studies at the graduate level in the Mount's Master of
Education program. Students who apply to the Master’s program will be advised to discuss the
Principals program coursework with a graduate studies coordinator. Students may use this
coursework towards the completion of Independent Studies coursework (to a maximum of 1.0 unit
of credit) if admitted to the Master’s program.
If you wish to pursue either level of study, you will need to:
a) Complete and submit to the University’s Admissions Office either the undergraduate application form with application fee or the graduate application form, application fee and supplementary application package that will be sent to you when we receive the attached form. You can also apply online.
b) Submit official copies of all previous academic study directly to the Admissions Office.
