USER ADVISORY: Phishing AttemptsIT&S would like to make all users aware that official looking emails claiming be from the MSVU web mail support team or another MSVU department are periodically sent to our users asking them to confirm their user ID and password. These are well crafted phishing attempts to gain access to our email accounts to SPAM other email systems. These same Phishing attempts are seen at other institutions.
As always, we won't ask for your network username and password. Do not reply to emails that ask for this type of information. If you have responded to one of these emails with your details, please change your password immediately and/or contact the MSVU helpdesk.
