At some point while you’re at the Mount, you won’t feel well physically, you’ll be stressed out or maybe you’ll have a sports injury. When that happens, you’ll need to visit the Health Office so you can be sent to see the appropriate health care professional. Below is a list of some of the medical services that we offer:

  • Medical Services
  • Birth control
  • Complete physical exams
  • Online self-help information
  • Prenatal advice

  • Referrals to specialists, physiotherapy
    and massage therapy
  • Treatment of mental health issues
  • Assessment sprains/strains/aches
  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • Immunizations
  • Pap tests and STD screening
  • Referrals for blood work, X-rays, etc
  • Treatment of colds and flu

What you can expect • That your medical issue and information will be kept confidential.
 • That you’ll feel comfortable and be treated with respect.
 
How to make an appointment • Call the Health Office at 902-457-6354.
 • Visit us on the second-floor of Assisi Hall. You don’t need an appointment to see the nurse.

Who can use the Mount’s Health Services facilities?The Mount’s Health Services facilities are open to a wide range of people, including students, staff, faculty and community members.
