Career Planning Services
Many students are unsure of their career options, and are interested in receiving help with career decision making, relating their program of study to career areas, and job search strategies. Career Planning Services is interested in assisting you in the delivery of such career related information to students. The following is a list of services we are able to offer you:
1. Class Presentations
We can customize presentations on job searching, resumes, cover letters, interview preparation, and career decision making to suit your class.
2. Referring Students
Students may make individual career counselling appointments in person in EV 218 or by calling 457-6567.
3. Career Fairs
Each year Career Planning Services participates in organizing career fairs for our students. Career fairs can be a great way for students to explore career opportunities related to their field of study, and to start making connections with employers. We encourage you to promote career fairs to your students, and perhaps consider taking your class on an outing to the next one: http://www.halifaxcareerfair.ca.
4. Job Postings

6. Consultation
Career Planning Services is interested in speaking with faculty about career planning or recruitment issues. If you have any questions or concerns, we would be happy to discuss these with you.
