lovely brunch while you learn professional dining and workplace etiquette from
Mount Alumna Sharon Skaling, Consultant
and Personal brand Artist!
Skaling is a
consultant, professional speaker, adult trainer, and president of Total You
Consulting. She is also a full-time
facilitator with Think PBBA Business Training.
She has more than 20 years of experience in supervision and office
management in the fashion retail, banking, dental, medical, and health spa
industries. She attended the
International Image Institute in Toronto and holds a Home Economic degree from
Mount Saint Vincent University.
Skaling has worked for Park University/Fred Pryor Seminars
in the USA. As a contract trainer, she
facilitated seminars throughout Eastern Canada and the US, training hundreds of
office professionals in Administrative Support, specializing in Business
Grammar and Writing Skills, Dealing with Difficult People, Assertive and
Communication Skills, as well as various Receptionist programs. Skaling
continues to provide programs for business in the areas of Image Management and
Personal Branding, as well as confidence building programs suitable for
administrative and management teams. She has published her work in three books,
including, You: The Total Package.
Volunteering is important to Skaling. She served as Board
President for Dress for Success Halifax (2009), President of the Canadian
Association of Professional Speakers Halifax Chapter (2007), and has served on
the board of the Halifax Women’s Network, and co-chaired the Small Business
Committee, Halifax Chamber of Commerce.
Currently, Skaling is taking her Masters of Arts, Women and
Gender Studies through MSVU / SMU.

Tickets
for students are $10.00 each and must
be purchased in advance from the Career Planning Services office (Evaristus Hall,
218).
