New Scholars Grant
Mount Saint Vincent University is pleased to be able to offer new full-time faculty members an opportunity to receive a start-up grant of up to $10,000.00 during the first two years of a tenure-track appointment.
To apply for a New Scholars Grant, please submit for review to Ardra Cole, Associate Vice-President, Academic and Research (msvu.ca) a two to three page research plan that includes the following:
- Title
- Statement of purpose
- Summary of proposed work
- Brief statement of how the proposed work fits into a larger program of research including any plans for additional funding applications
- Research plans
- Publication plans
- Budget
- Budget justification

Please note that faculty members cannot hold a New Scholars Grant and an Internal Standard Research Grant at the same time.
