External Grants

If you intend to apply for an external grant, please notify the Research Office well in advance of agency deadlines. Grants require the signature of an official signing authority of the university. The Associate Vice-President (Academic and Research) normally vets grant applications, but lead-time is required to properly review documents. If you require help in constructing budgets, the Associate Vice-President (Academic and Research) should be consulted as soon as an application is being considered. Unfortunately, the Research Office cannot guarantee last minute reviews of grants and a grant cannot be signed unless properly reviewed. We ask that you please respect our deadlines.

Internal Grants

Please review the Internal Grant Information file as well as the Budget Issues file prior to submitting your application to ensure that your application adheres to the policies currently in place.

There are a number of forms in Word and PDF format for you to use when applying for Internal Grants.
*Note: Applications that are received by the Committee on Research and Publications that are incomplete, or are over the budget limit, will be returned to the applicant for clarification and/or revisions. If the clarifications/revisions are not received in full by the committee by the internal deadline, the application will not be considered. The applicant will be encouraged to apply in the next competition.
