The objective of the certificate program is to give the student a basic introduction to the concepts of tourism and hospitality management.

Admission Requirements
Admission requirements for the Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management are the same as for the Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Please refer to pages and for admission requirements.  Please refer to 2.1.5 Admission Requirements and 2.1.7 Additional Admission Requirements.

The Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management is available to students in degree programs. Both the certificate and degree may be taken concurrently. If taken concurrently, the Principles Governing the Awarding of Multiple Credentials will be in effect. If not earned concurrently, the University regulations regarding a second credential will be in effect. Students are advised to review 2.1.10 Principles Governing the Awarding of Multiple Credentials during program planning and completion.

The certificate may be completed through distance learning on either a full-time or part-time basis.
