A Certificate in Information Technology requires the successful completion of a total of 6.0 units. 4.0 units of required courses plus 2.0 units in either the General Certificate or the concentrations in Information Management, Business Applications Development, or Network Management are required. Selected courses are available through distance learning.

The Certificate in Information Technology is available to students in degree programs. Both the certificate and degree may be taken concurrently. If taken concurrently, the Principles Governing the Awarding of Multiple Credentials will be in effect. If not earned concurrently, the University regulations regarding a second credential will be in effect. Students are advised to review 2.1.9 Holders of University Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates and 2.1.10 Principles Governing the Awarding of Multiple Credentials during program planning and completion.
