The MSVU CAFP Student Branch hosted the annual student event dinner, March 22, 2010, at Exhibition Park. The theme was The Meaning of Food and featured presentations by Kristin Knight (Branch 1st year rep) and Chef Peter Dewar (NSCC). While attendees participated in a world café exercise to summarize what food means to them, a power point presentation prepared by Melinda Vanderheide (Branch VP) was shown. The inaugural Bob Taylor Memorial Bursary was presented to Vanessa Maclellan (Branch President). This $2500 award recognizes CAFP involvement, dedication and interest in the foodservice industry, and overall contribution to the community.
