Patricia Parsons is Professor of Public Relations/Communication Studies and a past chairman of the Department of Public Relations. Prof. Parsons teaches ethics & strategic public relations planning. Her academic research and writing have been primarily in the areas of public relations ethics and strategy, healthcare communication and pedagogy in distance education online. She is accredited in public relations by the Canadian Public Relations Society and is a member of the CPRS College of Fellows. Passionate about arts & culture, Prof. Parsons currently chairs the Atlantic Advisory Board for Ballet Jörgen Canada and is a member of their national board of directors (Toronto).
