Kristin teaches part-time in the Faculty of Education as well as in the English Department. She has a BA in Linguistics (Cornell University), an MSc in Education (Syracuse University), and an MAEd in Literacy Education (MSVU). Her fourth book for children, Eagle of the Sea, was published in 2010. Kristin's research interests include writing theory, linguistic inquiry, writing as inquiry, and second language literacy.
