West Africa Field School TripStudents will be immersed in the cultural and musical history of The Ga people of Ghana.Students will stay in Kokrobite, a fishing village near the capital city of Accra, where they will learn local music and dance and collect oral traditions about the history of the area.
A typical day in Kokrobite: oral research and a lecture in the morning, free time in the afternoon and an evening lesson on Ghanaian culture.
Near the end of the trip we will take a tour of the former slave fort at Elmina and the forest walkway at Kakum National Park.
