Mount Saint Vincent University offers graduate programs in Studies in Lifelong Learning leading to a Master of Education, Master of Arts in Education, and PhD in Educational Studies.
Masters level programming is offered on campus. Beginning in 2011, a cohort program with a focus in Africentric Research and Policy will be offered in the Halifax region. As well in 2011, the Masters program will be offered off campus to a cohort of students in Cape Breton.
The Mount is now in the process of admitting students to the newly established, Inter-University Doctoral Program in Educational Studies. This new program is a collaboration of three Nova Scotia universities: Acadia University, St. Francis Xavier University and Mount Saint Vincent University. Lifelong learning is one of the program streams that will be offered by this new PhD program.
