Co-op Student and Employer of the Year Awards Program
The Mount Co-op Student of the Year Award was implemented in 1999 to recognize the achievements of our co-op students and to mark the 20th Anniversary of Co-operative Education at the Mount. Every year we recognize one student from each academic discipline for this award. Students are nominated by their employers for the contributions they made to the organization during the co-op term.

In 2010, we instituted the Mount Co-op Employer of the Year Award in recognition of the 30th Anniversary of co-op at the Mount. Employers who have displayed commitment, excellence and longstanding support are acknowledged. These employers are valuable partners of the Mount's Co-op program, for students, the university, as well as the surrounding community. An employer from each of the following academic disciplines may be selected: Business Administration; Public Relations; and Tourism & Hospitality Management. Employers are nominated by students for providing a supportive and learning environment.
