We make hiring co-op students easy by providing a personalized approach at every step in the hiring process.

Do you have work projects you require additional support to complete? Interested in mentoring a student in their field of study? Think about hiring a business administration or public relations co-op student for the Fall 2017 term (September to December).

Please let us know if you would like to post the position on file from a previous term or you can email the new job posting to us. For new employers please contact us directly or fill out the New Employer Job Form and email it once completed.

Important Dates:

  • First round of jobs to be posted for students: Monday, May 15, 2017
  • Ongoing postings begin: Tuesday, May 30, 2017
  • Resume packages to be distributed to employers by: Thursday, June 1, 2017
  • Interviews and direct offers begin: Friday, June 9, 2017

How can I hire a co-op student?

If you are a new co-op employer, please complete this form and email it along with your job Employer website 240x164posting.Once received we will confirm the dates the job will be posted for students and when you can expect your resume package.

Funding Option for Nova Scotia Employers:

The process to apply for funding has changed to an online platform called LaMPSS. Please carefully review the new information provided by the Department of Labour and Advanced Education before applying to ensure your application is successfully received and processed. 

Note: Organizations that do not already have a LaMPSS profile will need to create one before having access to the co-op funding applications. It will take Labour and Advanced Education about one business day to send a user name and password.

Applications for the Co-operative Education Incentive (CEI) program will be available online beginning Monday, April 10, 2017 with an application deadline of Friday, May 19, 2017. Please visit the CEI funding program website for more information. The CEI funding program provides private sector, small business and non-profit organizations with 50% reimbursement of a required $15/hour salary minimum.
