Re-cap: March 11 FREE Public Lecture!
On Friday, March 11, the Mount welcomed Dr. Norman Vaughan, Associate Professor, Faculty of Teaching and Learning, Mount Royal University, Calgary, Alberta who addressed the topic:
Blended Learning: New Opportunities for Face-to-Face and Distance Teaching and Learning.
To our knowledge, this topic has not been the focus of any previous dedicated public scholarly event about teaching and learning in higher education in the Atlantic.
Dr. Vaughan's lecture began our day long program of activiites which concluded with two book prize draws, one for faculty and one for students, for a signed copy of Blended Learning in Higher Education,
co-authored by Dr. Vaughan.
