S.C.O.T.L.

Senate Committee on Teaching and Learning (S.C.O.T.L.)

The role of this Senate committee is to contribute to maintaining, fostering and appreciating excellence in teaching and learning at Mount Saint Vincent University.  The Co-ordinator, Teaching and Learning, is advised by, and consults with S.C.O.T.L. about the Centre's mandate, programs and services delivery for faculty.

Read our Terms of Reference.

We strive to achieve our mandate through a variety of initiatives; for example, Faculty Day, an annual professional development event organized by faculty (a working group of S.C.O.T.L.) for faculty, precedes the beginning of each new academic year.

NEW!  SCOTL is leading the work on the Mount's new Teaching and Learning Plan.  Read more about our work on our blog: http://msvuteachingandlearning.wordpress.com/about/  Tell us what you think--post a comment or two!
