Sharon Woodill is an interdisciplinary scholar with research interests in religion and gender/sexuality, science and religion, feminist theory, atheism and secularism, and interdisciplinary methodologies.

She holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She holds an MA in Gender and Women’s Studies from Saint Mary’s University and Mount Saint Vincent University (joint program) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and a BA (honours) in Music (jazz piano) from Saint Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
