When are the tours?

Drop-in tours are scheduled by the Library at the beginning of each semester. If you missed one of these tours, stop by the main Library Desk to arrange a private tour.

Where are the sessions held?

Tours are held in the EMF Communications Centre; meet next to the main Library Desk.

What's involved & who should attend?

If you are in your first year, new to the Mount, or simply want a "library refresher", please join us on a tour. Sessions are designed to orient students, staff and faculty to the EMF Communication Centre. Anyone may attend - there is no pre-registration or restriction to specific classes. We will show you the physical location and availability of books, reference materials, journals and e-journals, databases, indexes/abstracts, newspapers, government documents, specific subjects (e.g., literature/ languages, sciences, social sciences, business.)

If you want instruction on how to use these resources faculty should arrange an in-class workshop, and individual students should book a research appointment.

How long are tours?

Each tour will last approximately 30 minutes.
