The Mounts Men's Soccer entered a new season with plenty of optimism and the road to an ACAA title is not east.  However, as the team has experienced the most prolific turnover of players in team history. Only 9 of the 23 players from last season have returned, making way for a batch of young, talented players that will keep the program strong for years to come. The team was determined to maintain the style of play that has impressed the league for many years, while bringing the toughness and work ethic required to win championships. This re-vamped team lost their first couple of match-ups but are improving every time they step on the field.

Leading the squad this season are veteran players and team Captains Tyler Simmons, Jamie Burrell and Kevin Burgess.  Along with veteran playmakers Andy Thompson and Jude Petrella, they have the task of maintaining a cohesive unit while helping the young talent develop and thrive.  Shot-stopping duties fall once again on goalkeepers Matt Sullivan and Rob Forgeron as they look to complete their playing careers on a high note. The mix of young and  veteran players will make for a dynamic team on the pitch. Overseeing the team this season are Co-Head Coaches Luke Corey and Eduardo Farias, both returning for their 4th season in the position. Joining them are Assistant Coach and former ACAA All-star Mark Harnish, and Trainer Matt Szeto.

The men had a challenging season with 12 new players joining the squad, it took time to develop the offensive systems needed to execute at the top of their game.  Defensively, this Mystics team was one of the strongest in years, lead by captain and ACAA 1st Team All Conference, Kevin Burgess in his final season.

The team suffered five 1-0 defeats and a number of other close decisions, missing the playoffs as a result.  Rookies, Chris Gallant, 2nd Team ACAA All Conference member and Brandon McKenzie showed they have the ability to be top players in the league. The rest of this talented squad were dedicated members and the future looks bright for the Mystics as the majority of the team will return next year.  They have already dedicated themselves to an off-season training program to be ready and successful next season.
