Classes consist of postures, breathing exercises, relaxation and yogic wisdom building both flexibility and strength in our body, breath and mind.  The ultimate goal of yoga, (according to the Yoga Sutra), is to calm the fluctuations of the mind and turn inward.

For ages 16+ years.

Jeannine Saulnier

Jeannine’s has been practicing since the 70’s and teaching for over 15 years. She is a certified Ayuveda consultant with the Vidya Institute and has attended the 2015 Yoga and Ayurveda Excursion in India.  She completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training certification at the Himalayan Institute. The Himalayan Institute offers training in classical yoga. Jeannine’s practice and teachings of yoga includes yogic techniques for body, breath, mind, and spirit. Her classes include: asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), relaxation techniques, meditation and yoga philosophy. Jeannine’s teachings include management of prana using breath, invigorating body and mind, and developing a sense of inner connection and calmness, leading to inner peace.
