The Workout Club - for All Levels

- Take a break at lunch to boost your endorphins and improve your spirit, mind and body!

- This guided small group training program is the only one to include use of WEARABLE PERSONAL FITNESS TRACKERS (The Garmin VivoFit). 

- Participants may do boxing, skipping, strength training and more! Each workout will also include a mental exercise to help with overall wellness and stress management.

- With general fitness assessments at the beginning and end, you will be able to see results clearly.

- Get access to equipment and advice that no-one else has and change your life for the better in just 8 weeks!       

This program is only for women 18 years & older

Melissa has been involved in the fitness industry since 1997 and cannot imagine any other career!  A lifelong passion for dance brought her to the world of fitness and she has never looked back. She completed degrees in Kinesiology and Dance from York University, then certifications from YMCA Canada, Can-Fit-Pro, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), ZUMBA and YogaFit Canada. She is a Group Fitness Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Workshop Presenter, and Trainer Educator. Her fitness experience includes 6 years as the Director of Health, Fitness, and Recreation at the South Park YMCA in Halifax, and Coordinator of the Group Fitness Program at YMCA Ellerslie in Auckland, New Zealand. Having spent time living and working around the world Melissa has acquired valuable skills working with people of all ages, sizes and abilities and including injury rehab, pre & post natal fitness, and older adult programs. In 2009 she was awarded the Fitness Instructor of the Year-Freestyle, presented by Fitness Life magazine in New Zealand. Melissa most recently spent 7 years as owner and lead trainer for MOTIVA Wellbeing and Fitness in Halifax.
