No, it’s not a dance class. And it’s not just another bootcamp. STRONG by Zumba is a revolutionary high-intensity workout where every move is synced to a beat, pushing you harder to give it everything you’ve got, and then some. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing, all led by music.

Wanda Martin

Wanda Martin has worked in the fitness world for 5 years, is part of the Latin dancing community and has participated in community dance/fitness events throughout HRM.  Wanda is certified with CanFitPro™,  has her LesMills certifications in SH'BAM™(AIM2) and BODYVIVE™ 3.1, and her Zumba® ZIN™, POUND®, and STRONG by Zumba® instructor licenses. She went to university in her home in NFLD at MUN and also Ryerson Unversity in Toronto where she attained degrees in Biochemistry in Food Science, and Public Health.  She has worked in both the private and public sectors. Wanda lives with her husband in Bedford along with their little senior doggy, Snookie. Her passion is incorporating music, dance, and fitness to make it easy for others to enjoy!
