Did you know that it's not all about quieting your thoughts? And, that meditation has been scientifically shown to help concentration, relieve stress and much more? Join this six-week course on mindfulness meditation and you will learn how to relax your body, let go of tension, deal with stress as it happens, focus your attention and tune into a deeper part of who you are! 

Grant has an open and approachable style and applies techniques that have been used for centuries in a way that is ideal for today's busy lifestyle. Each week will build upon the last, so that your confidence and understanding will grow by the end of the program. This class is suitable for both beginners and those experienced in meditation.

Grant is a certified hypnotherapist and has been teaching meditation for several years. He has taught at Dalhousie, NSCC and various meditation studios in the HRM. Grant obtained a science degree from The Mount with honours in psychology. He blends traditional meditation techniques in a practical way that is accessible to all participants, regardless of experience or background.
