Processing a Canada Student Loan
- Receive assessment and Schedule 1 (Certificate of Eligibility). Pre-Study Report (PSR) included in this package. Click here to see if you need to complete a PSR.
- Take Schedule 1 to MSVU Financial Services (Student Accounts on main floor of Evaristus Hall). They will endorse and indicate how much is to come back to MSVU.
- Take endorsed Schedule 1 to designated Canada Post outlet (locations included with loan information package) and do a Loan Agreement with them.
- Canada Post sends all your information off to the National Student Loan Service Centre (NSLDS).
- Within two weeks, $ electronically transferred to both your account and MSVU.
Processing a Nova Scotia Student Loan
- MUST have completed and returned a Pre-Study Report (PSR) to receive NS Student Loan.
- Receive new assessment (PSR taken into consideration) and Schedule 1 (Certificate of Eligibility).
- Take Schedule 1 to MSVU Financial Services (Student Accounts on main floor of Evaristus Hall). They will endorse and indicate how much is to come back to MSVU.
- Take endorsed Schedule 1 to the Royal Bank of Canada and do a Loan Agreement with them
- Within two weeks, $ electronically transferred to both your account and MSVU.
