Emergency Loan Program

• Small emergency loan program available to full-time students.
• Maximum amount of loan available -- $250.
• Short term – repayable within 30 days interest free.
• Available to assist students in a short-term crunch – need money to purchase books, pay rent, buy groceries, etc.
• Loans may NOT be used to pay funds to the University; i.e. University deposits, tuition, student fees, residence charges, nor to clear outstanding balances.
• Only available during Fall/Winter term...NOT during the Summer.
• Must be able to show a means of re-payment.
• Students cannot receive an emergency loan unless all previous emergency loans have been repaid.
• Students who have left campus at the end of an academic year with an Emergency Loan outstanding will not be eligible for a loan during the following academic year.
• Call 457-6356 to make an appointment with the Financial Aid Manager.
