The Mount’s University Bridging Program

If you are close to meeting our English-language requirements, then this program is for you! The University Bridging Program allows you to study part-time at the Mount while completing academic language training on campus. This 144-hour program will give you the academic skills you’ll need to succeed at the Mount, including:

  • academic research
  • academic integrity
  • listening and note-taking 
  • time management 

  • academic writing
  • critical thinking
  • effective reading
  • effective communication
You will become familiar with the Mount’s library, faculty and classroom environment.
When you have completed this program, you can study full-time at the Mount the next semester!
 
Cost

$1,950, which includes tuition and materials. This fee is due at the time of application. Enrollment is limited.

AdmissionTo be admitted, students must have a minimum of
 TOEFL paper based: 520+
TOEFL computer based: 190+
TOEFL Internet Based: 67+ (with no marks lower than 17)
 IELTS: 5.5+ (with no marks below 5).
