| Paula joined the Mount in 2004 as International Student Advisor and has since added exchange programs to her portfolio. She is busy now preparing for MSVU’s fifth China Institute at Ginling College in Nanjing. Paula continues to offer guidance to international students around academic, personal, immigration, and cultural issues. | Nicolle joined the MSVU team in August 2008 and took on the task of building the curriculum and teaching the University Bridging program which launched in September 2008. She is also responsible for planning and coordinating social activities for the international community at MSVU, making sure there’s always fun things to do and getting students out of their dorm rooms during the cold winter months. Alexis joined the International Student Centre in October, 2011. He has an MBA from Saint Thomas University in Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in TESL from Universidad de la Habana, Cuba, where he is originally from. Prior to the Mount Alexis has collaborated with international recruitment agencies and has recruited students from Central America and Mexico for different educational programs in Nova Scotia. He is in charge of promoting academic programs internationally and connecting MSVU with higher learning institutions all over the world. Alexis can be contacted at 902-457-6221 and msvu.ca.

| Kay Balite joined the International Education Centre in May 2011. She has been involved in student life since she started at the Mount in 2008. She started working as a bartender/server in Vinnie's Pub & Lounge. In 2009, she became the Student Events Coordinator of International Student Society (ISS). In 2010, she became the Co-Vice-President of ISS. As the new ISL, she hopes to further contribute to the international family who has been her foundation and support since she started.

| Ashley-Jane worked as the International Student Liaison in 2008 and has since returned as the Promotions & Office Assistant in 2010. She oversees the creation of promotional material, implementation of communication initiatives and assists in administrative duties. A native of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Ashley-Jane graduated from The Mount with a Bachelor of Public Relations.
