Submitting your Graduate Application
Review the following instructions carefully to ensure your application is complete. Incomplete files will result in processing delays and impact your application assessment. Applications are not assessed until all required and supporting documentation, including the application fee, is received.
- For admission consideration, all documentation must arrive by the deadlines listed. Applications received after the application deadline will be considered ONLY if there is space available in the program.
- Use one application for each graduate program, including non-degree graduate study.
- Complete all sections of the Graduate Programs Application for Admission.
- Submit a $50 CAD, non-refundable application fee. The Application Fee can be made online with a Visa or Mastercard after the application is submitted.
- Download, review and submit all required documentation from the Graduate Supplementary Information Package for your specific program.
- Arrange for official transcripts from each previous post-secondary institution attended to be sent directly from the issuing institution(s) to the Mount Admissions Office. Official transcripts are required for all individual courses and degrees completed.
- Applicants who have completed coursework at the Mount do not need to provide Mount transcripts.
- Transcripts and other official documents must be submitted unopened, in their original format. Neither photocopies nor opened transcripts will be accepted. Transcripts submitted in a language other than English must be accompanied by an English translation signed by a notarized translator.
- Applicants whose first language is not English must submit official test results with acceptable scores. Refer to the Language admission requirements for more information.
- Documents submitted to the Mount become the property of the institution and will not be returned to the applicant.
- All Mount regulations regarding plagiarism, cheating and misrepresentation apply to any graduate application documents. Refer to the Graduate Academic Calendar for regulation information.
Note: Previous Mount students applying for graduate non-degree study may not need to submit an application. Contact the Admissions Office at 902.457.6117 or msvu.ca for details.
