Application Instructions for Graduate Programs
Review the following instructions carefully to ensure your application is complete. For admission consideration, all documentation must arrive by the deadlines listed.
- Complete all sections of the Application for Admission to Graduate Programs.
- Use one application for each graduate program including graduate non-degree applications.
- Submit a $50 CAD, non-refundable application fee to the Admissions Office. Payment can be made online with a credit card (Mastercard or VISA) at the time you submit an online application, by mailing in a cheque or money order, by visiting the Admissions Office, or by calling the Admissions Office with a Visa or Mastercard.
- Arrange for two official transcripts from each previous post-secondary institution attended to be sent directly from the issuing institution(s) to the Admissions Office. Transcripts must arrive in sealed, stamped envelopes. Photocopies and/or opened transcripts will not be accepted.
- Documents submitted to MSVU become the property of the institution and will not be returned to the applicant.
Application Deadlines for the academic year of 2010/2011* (for programs starting September 2010):
November 1, 2009 January 2010 enrollment in available programs
January 14, 2010 Master of Arts in School Psychology
March 1, 2010 Graduate programs (except Women and Gender Studies and School Psychology)
April 1, 2010 Master of Arts in Women and Gender Studies
* Faculty of Educations cohort programs may have different deadlines. Please contact the Admissions Office if you have questions.
