Mount student goes the extra mile
Matt DeCourcey, a Master of Public Relations student, is quick to lend a hand and get involved. Whether it’s as a student representative on the Board of Governors at the Mount, a Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) member, volunteering with international organizations, or helping out a friend, Matt is ready and willing.
Matt encourages students of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in school organizations. “Bring your experiences to school and help add something to it.”
Matt’s volunteer efforts won’t stop at the Mount. He has applied for an International Development Fellowship and with that, hopes to spend some time focusing on community building, advocacy and communications. The sky is the limit for this passionate and dedicated volunteer.
