School Improvement Project (2008-2010)

Description: This project's aim was to provide consulting services to the Abu Dhabi Educational Council for their school improvement program; which was designed to support the transition of public schools from a central management to a site-based management model.

This project provided mentoring and support for United Arab Emirate (UAE) teachers and  administrators in six schools (K-9) in the areas of curriculum development and implementation, administrative skill development, design of operational and policy manuals, communication & community outreach activities, and English language training.

Goals for this project included improving instruction, increasing student achievement, and better engagement of local communities.
