Giving To and Giving Through the United Way

Did you know that you can support other charities and agencies through the United Way, even if they are not included in the list of fifty agencies?  There is a small administrative fee charged by the United Way when you give this way, but your donation counts towards the Mount’s campaign total, and you are also helping your favourite charity to establish a stronger relationship with the United Way. If the United Way sees a real need and decides to add your favourite charity to its list of funded agencies, this would give it a reliable source of support plus the entire United Way team of fundraisers working to sustain its valuable work.
