Thriving in Business: Tales from an Immigrant Entrepreneur

Pernille(Small)You're invited to join us on Thursday, November 30 at Rosaria Student Centre, MSVU, from 5-7pm for Tales from an Immigrant Entrepreneur: One Woman's Story by Pernille Fischer Boulter.

We're marking #GlobalEntrepreneurshipWeek, and helping Pernille celebrate the launch of her new book with an evening of networking, refreshments, and an interactive discussion on her inspiring story.

It's one that will motivate newcomers, and any entrepreneur staring down big challenges in pursuit of their business dreams.

Kisserup-Logo-RGB-2016It is a tale of business success, told from Pernille's perspective as a Danish Canadian woman who relentlessly pursued her career, and launched an international consulting and export development company, Kisserup International Trade Roots, here in Halifax.

She did this in the face of hurdles that included starting over in a new country, the logistical headaches of immigration, and the inevitable culture shock that ensued. Pernille will be signing copies of Tales from an Immigrant Entrepreneur for purchase at the event.
