RBC Alliance of Young Women Entrepreneurs

It's the first program of its kind in Canada! The Alliance of Young Women Entrepreneurs program (AYWE) will take students from the idea stage to the implementation phase of business through mentorship and peer-to-peer advising over the duration of their studies at MSVU.

The goal? To provide female students enrolled in any four-year program with the knowledge needed to build a prosperous business.

This means students will be equipped with the skills and tools to launch a new idea while attending university, or after graduation. The skills introduced through this program can be applied to any career, making this a worthwhile opportunity for all students.

The program will unfold over four years, and will be tailored to meet the needs and objectives of each student:

  • Year 1: Students will meet with peers and develop an idea
  • Years 2: Time to dive into market research and write a business plan!
  • Year 3: Explore ways to access capital and establish systems and processes
  • Year 4: Execute the plan
